1. Jack London.
Born on January 12, 1876.
He was a Social activist, an American author,and renowned journalist.
London was A pioneer in the world of
commercial magazine fiction, he was one ofthe first fiction writers to obtain worldwidecelebrity and a large fortune and wealth from his fiction stories and articles alone.
London had a bad relationship with his parents at early age leading to him dropping out of grade school. At 17 years of age , he told his boss at work about his desire to attend university and pursue a career as a writer. His boss lent him tuition money to
London desperately wanted to attend the University of California, Berkeley . In 1896, after a summer of intense studying to passcertification exams, he was admitted. Financial circumstances forced him to leave in 1897 and he never graduated. But he continued to write short novels then.
London gradually began his writing career just as newprinting technologies enabled lower-cost production of magazines. This resulted in a
boom in popular magazines aimed at a wide public and a strong market for short fiction. In 1900, he made
$2,500 in writing, about $71,000 in today’s currency. Making him one of the richest men of his generation.
2. Steve Jobs.
Born: February 24, 1955. Jobs was an American pioneer of the personal computer revolution of the 1970s (along with engineer, inventor, and Apple Computer co-founder, Steve Wozniak).
Jobs had difficulty functioning in a
traditional classroom and tended to resist authority figures, he frequently misbehaved and was suspended a few times.
Jobs grew up naturally brilliant and a computer nerd. He would visit his friends in the University and study their books.
Jobs was described by a Homestead classmate as “kind of a brain and kind of a hippie … but he never fit into either group. He was smart enough to be a nerd, but wasn’t nerdy. And he was too intellectual for the hippies, who just
wanted to get wasted all the time.
Later, Jobs got involved in developing video games, and became a technician thereafter. Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs soon started ‘Apples’ which brought jobs into limelight and became one of the most successful men to have lived.

3. Bill Gates
More or less most popular of this category. Bill Gates actually started his studies at Harvard but dropped out. As you surely know, he is the founder of Microsoft.
Bill Gates is not only the richest among those without a college degree, but the richest man in the world as well, and this year for the 16TH time, as declared by Forbes magazine’s annual ranking of global billionaires.
His current net worth is $79 billion.
4. Roman Abramovich .
He is the owner of Chelsea football club. His asset stands at $11.2 billion. His Source of wealth includes steel and
investments. Roman Abramovich was a college drop out. Abramovich once sold plastic toys out of his small apartment in Russia. But with time, he became one of the richest business tycoon in the world up till today.
5. Li Ka-shing.
Li Ka-shing made his fortune with real estate and doing various business endeavors. He made it to the list of the wealthiest people in the world yet he didn’t even graduate from high school. He dropped out when he was 15 and started working as a plastic flower salesman to support his family. His hardworking nature brought him all the wealth he may have dreamed of while he was poor, and with the current net worth of $26.6 billion and at the age of 87, he doesn’t have to worry about being poor ever again.
